My experience with Growth Development Consultancy in career development helped shape me into an aware and confident young professional, equipped to take on challenges in the working world. Most importantly, I was helped to prepare for interviews, which helped me acquire a job at the National Bank of Malawi, where I am currently happily employed.

At first, I was concerned I would not find opportunities geared towards graduate students. I considered working for GDC as an intern, where I acquired experience in monitoring and evaluation, which helped me get a full-time job as a Data Manager/Analyst at Smollan Africa before I had graduated from college. My work with GDC as a freelance helped me get a Job as Data Manager at pediatric and Child Health Association of Malawi in partnership with the minister for Health. GDC played a great part in the process because I constantly referred to GDC for my work experience in data and M&E work.

The work helped me gain experience in preparing financial reports, reviewing financial transactions, and contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results.
